Anton Lavrouk

About Me

I am a first year Master’s student at Georgia Tech. I work under Professor Wei Xu, finding solutions to make multilingual LLMs more relevant to languages other than English.

Professionally, I am a Research Science Intern at Lockheed Martin. I work on low SWaP intelligent applications.

Personally, I enjoy many hobbies, such as reading, amateur radio, video games, and more. I am on the executive board of Georgia Tech’s Russian Speaking Association.

• Natural Language Processing: LLM fairness, propaganda detection, multilingual LLMs, SSM based LMs, time series analysis with LLMs.
• Neuromorphic Computing: RF applications, Neuromorphic NLP.

• [April. 2024] I presented the Stanceosaurus 2.0 poster at SouthNLP 2024.
• [March 2024] Our paper about multilingual stance detection is accepted to WNUT 2024.
• [December 2023] I finished my Bachelors in Computer Science (Intelligence/Theory) and started my Master’s (Machine Learning) at Georgia Tech.
• [August 2022] I joined the NLP X lab, led by Dr. Wei Xu.
• [August 2020] I started my undergrad at Georgia Tech.
